Biography

Hi! I'm Mrs. Bateman and I am really looking forward to another great year at Hawthorn Academy!! I am teaching ELA 7 and 8, Journalism, and Dance. I love getting to know my students and celebrating all of their achievements. I am the house leader for Nukumori, the House of Kindness. I love the house system and look forward to working with students and having them feel like they have a place at Hawthorn. I attended Southern Utah University and graduated in Communications, with a dance minor. My family and I love to bake, go on bike rides, watch movies, and so much more. I really love to laugh and I try not to take life too seriously.
