Biography

Nicolai Clawson has a degree in History Education with a Social Studies composite and minors in science. He completed his education at BYU Idaho and Utah Valley University. He is excited to teach 6th grade science and social studies at Hawthorn Academy. This is his first year teaching at Hawthorn Academy and looks forward to staying for many more. His goal is to make a classroom where students ask questions and participate in the classes. He wants students to go home every day excited to share what they have learned in class and look forward to returning. In his free time he enjoys reading books, working in his woodshop and spending time with his family. His favorite summer activity is white water rafting.
