Biography

HEY! HEY! I am Mrs. George. This is my 15th year of teaching AND at Hawthorn. I have been here since the school was built and love being an EAGLE! I teach 7th Grade Language Arts. I also teach literacy enrichment for grades 7-9.  I am originally from Price, UT and graduated from Utah State University in Logan, Utah. GO AGGIES!! I have been married for 16 years to my amazing husband, Jeremy, and we have two precious little girls. Haylee is 12 and Laynee is 9. We love to camp, travel, ride our four-wheelers and go out to eat! Teaching is my passion and something I have wanted to do since I was a little girl. I love to watch kids learn and middle school is the best!!   

I am the House Leader of ALTRUISMO and it's the best House! The House system is incredible and we are going to have the best year ever! ALT-RUI-SMO! Goooo RISSSSMMOOOO!!!!
