Biography

Hi! I am Mrs. Normandeau and I am excited to be teaching 5th grade at the West Jordan Campus this year.  

I have a BS in psychology and human development from Utah State University and a MEd in elementary education from University of Phoenix. I have been teaching for 18 years. 

When I'm not at school, I love to travel, read, cook, hike, and ski. I love to hang out with my pets. I have a dog named Finneas and a cat named Minerva. I have 3 kids who are all adults now. My favorite color is teal. My favorite animal is the amazing elephant. My favorite food is cheese. Science is my favorite subject.

I am a member of Protos House. Go Teal Team! I am looking forward to having the house system at Hawthorn this year. I think it will be a lot of fun.
