I'm Miss Ladle and I've got a BS from Brigham Young University in Biological Science Education. I grew up in a suburb north of Cincinnati where forests, bugs and thunderstorms were never lacking. One of my most prized possessions is my bug collection which I started over 9 years ago and has over 300 specimens. My love for science partially stems from incredible teachers that taught me how to think and discover how things worked for myself... which is what I hope to instill in my students.
Some other valuable life experiences I've had include living abroad in Thailand for over a year, being a tour guide in Southeast Alaska and the Yukon Territory, and playing collegiate Ultimate Frisbee for BYU.
